I ordered a Kontour heated towel bar from OTW, brushed nickel finish, reasonable price it is absolutely everything we were looking for. When the towel bar arrived the package was damaged and the towel bar was slightly bent. I called OTW to let them know of the damaged item. I sent some pictures and a brief message describing the damage. They reviewed the pictures and got back to me right away to let me know they would be replacing the damaged item and shipped it immediately. I was totally and pleasantly surprised. The process was seamless. OTW definitely stands by their products and their customer service is phenomenal. My wife and I love our new towel bar and are very glad we bought our heated towel bar at OTW! I highly recommend you purchase your next towel bar with OTW, you won't be disappointed. In previous years I had purchased an oil filled plug in wall heated towel rail at a reasonable price but because of the high cost now of just about everything I settled on a regular heated towel rail which is nice but was problematic fitting it. It seemed no matter how we measured to put it up it was always sloped the wrong way or out of plumb and we did not know why. We put spirit levels on the back screw holders, we drew lines on the wall, we hung a plumb line but it was always "out" of plumb. Eventually we determined something wrong with the manufacture or it had been bent in transit which somehow did not sit right with us and so after much ado we decided not to send it back because we were unable to determine what was wrong with it but to try and fit it on the wall so it did not look so bad. I will try and upload some of the photos we took during installation in a day or so. The heater does not really heat the room very much but will serve its purpose to keep the towels warm. I did put it on a plug in timer, the one recommended which I also purchased at a later date but so far the heater has not come on using it. I will try a non digital timer and see if that works and keep you posted. Maybe it has something to do with the on/off button wont switch on with a digital timer. Still working on that. I guess in this day and age it is good value for money but if asked would I purchase it again I probably would not. The company is fast to respond to any issues and Michael very helpful and polite and will work with you on any issues you may have. A good company but maybe this product wasn't really one of their best products.
