Krugg
LED Mirror Buying Guide
Sizing: Your mirror should be slightly narrower than the vanity below it — typically 70–80% of the vanity width. Center it over the faucet with the middle of the mirror at eye level. Medicine cabinets follow the same rule: size to your vanity width.
Lighting: Look for a high CRI (90+) so colors read true — essential for makeup and grooming. Warmer light (~3000K) flatters; cooler daylight tones (~4000–5000K) suit detail tasks. Dimmable mirrors, like Krugg's Icon series, give you both.
Features: A defogger keeps the mirror clear after hot showers. Dimmers, touch sensors, and magnification are worth weighing against how you use the space.
Installation: Most LED mirrors are hardwired by an electrician, though plug-in options exist. Confirm blocking or junction-box requirements before ordering. For medicine cabinets, decide between recessed and surface mount.
Krugg mirrors and medicine cabinets are designed to coordinate — size both to your vanity for a unified wall.
