Interview with Julia Billen, owner of WarmlyYours
OTW: Share with us the history of WarmlyYours:
BILLEN: WarmlyYours Radiant was founded in 1999. Our first product was indoor floor warming. As consumer awareness of radiant heating and its benefits increased, it became clear that the greatest demand for floor warming was in the master bathroom. The target customer, usually a woman, was interested in creating a spa experience. Therefore, it was only natural that WarmlyYours introduced towel warmers, so consumers could extend their spa experience from warm floors to warm towels.
OTW: What is your role with WarmlyYours?
BILLEN: I am the owner and president of WarmlyYours.
OTW: What should a customer consider when purchasing a towel warmer?
BILLEN: I think the most important thing to consider when purchasing a towel warmer is real estate, real estate, real estate. What I mean by that, in towel warmer language, is that you need to have the wall space to hang the towel warmer. You need to determine if you have a wall area that works for you, and then get the right size towel warmer for the space. The good news is that if you don't have enough free wall space, you can use a freestanding towel warmer. Again, just make sure you have a place for the towel warmer to stand that is out of the traffic area in your bathroom.
OTW: What is WarmlyYours most popular towel warmer?
BILLEN: Our most popular model is the Infinity. It's the right quality and the right price point, and folks love it.
OTW: If you were giving a towel warmer as a gift, which model would you give and why?
BILLEN: I'd stick with the Infinity. I love its brushed stainless steel finish, and it's the right size for most master bathrooms.
