The Amba towel warmer was an easy install and looks terrific! Only Towel Warmers is a great company to buy from. Their prices are great, and their delivery was great. Highly recommended!!!!
Very happy with this warmer. Does what I wanted and looks good doing so. Only Towel Warmers got it to me quickly. Very happy.
Note: I paid someone else to install it for me.
Looks amazing in the space! Customer service was great. Had no issues with ordering or shipping, but received proactive emails letting me know where my order was in the process and when my towel warmer was expected to be in stock/ship. Arrived sooner than expected.
I installed myself. Was not as smooth as I’d hoped. A template marking locations of the four attachment points would have been extremely helpful, but as another reviewer said, installing the cover plate over the outlet and “dry fitting” the unit (electricity not connected) and marking the locations was the way to go.
Overall, it’s exactly what we were looking for!
Eight years ago we purchased the Amba radiant towel warmer when we remodeled our bathroom. We just loved it, as it was always great grabbing a nice warm towel after a shower. Sadly, it just died a month or so ago. We were happy to see that Amba still made the exact same model, as it sure made the installation a piece of cake for me. After getting it connected and mounted, and using it for a couple of weeks, it just does not seem to generate the same amount of warmth in the towels as the previous unit. Don't get me wrong, it still warms the towel, and the towel rack is quite hot to the touch, but maybe it's just a bit less warm than the previous version. It's still nice, just not quite as luxurious!
Great towel warmer but if you follow the measurements in the instructions you'll be a little off. I got the towel bar ready to mount and double checked the actual dimensions of the bar to what the instructions said and they didn't match. So I used the actual dimensions and had no problems. I believe the bottom distance was off by almost a half an inch.
